Bio: In 2008 Healey rejoined the Boston Globe's business section after several years on the Globe's Spotlight Team, where her 2006 investigative series, "Debtor's Hell,'' was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. She also worked on a series that uncovered abuse and self-dealing at private family foundations around the country. Prior to the spotlight team, Healy covered mutual funds, the investment business, and venture capital for the business section she now works on investigative business stories. Before that, she wrote the "On State Street" business column at the Boston Herald for three years and earlier covered banking for Crain's Chicago Business. Healy broke the mutual fund market timing scandal in Boston in 2003, with an exposé of improper trading by brokers at Prudential Securities. She won a Headliner Award in 2005 for a series on mutual fund trustees: Overseers and Oversights.
