USS New York

The USS New York sails the Hudson
The USS New York is 684 feet long, cost $1 billion to build, and can carry up to 800 Marines. The Navy assault ship also has 7.5 tons of steel recovered from the World Trade Center forged into its bow. The ship, scheduled to be commissioned Nov. 7, arrived in New York City today.
